Jackson Township Zoning Commission Meet the Members

The Township Zoning Commission typically meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00pm at the Township Hall to review cases of RE-ZONING or TEXT AMENDMENTS to the regulations of the Township's Zoning Code. T

he Board consists of 5 regular members and can have up to 2 alternate members, a quorum of 3 members is required to convene a public meeting and rule on cases presented.

Township Zoning Commission Members  

Mr. Ronald Cooper, Chair
Mr. Cooper has served on the Zoning Commission for nearly 20 years and was instrumental in the development of the current Zoning Resolution.  Mr. Coopers’ current term expires December 2010.    Mr. Cooper has lived in Jackson Township since 1977.

Mr. Reggie Brown
Mr. Brown has served on the Zoning Commission since December 1995 and his current term expires in December 2009.   Mr. Brown is a professional firefighter with Norwich Township where he manages the Bureau of Fire Inspections & Prevention.  Mr. Brown has lived in Jackson Township since 1993.

Mr. Timothy McGrath
Mr. Timothy McGrath has served on the Zoning Commission since June 2007 as an alternate member and his current terms expires in December 2013.  Mr. McGrath is an attorney at the Columbus law firm of Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky and has much zoning experience from having previously served on the Franklin County Rural Zoning Commission.  Mr. McGrath has lived in Jackson Township since 1983.

Mr. James O’Harra
Mr. O’Harra has served on the Zoning Commission since November 1998 and his current term expires in December 2012.   Mr. O’Harra is a draftsman employed at the DSCC in Columbus.   Mr. O’Harra has lived in Jackson Township since 1970.

Mr. Dave Strawser
Mr. Strawser has served on the Zoning Commission since June 1996 and his current term expires in December 2011.   Mr. Strawser and his wife Mary have lived in Jackson Township since 1965.

Mr. George Schulz (Alternate)
Mr. Schulz has served on the Zoning Commission since January 2007 as an alternate member and his term expires December 2013.  Mr. Schulz is retired from the City of Grove City and is a lifelong resident of Jackson Township.
