Ohio Department of Transportation District 6 officials report the stretch of White Road that runs below the Interstate 71 overpass will be closed from 8 p.m. Dec. 11, 2015 to 8 p.m. Dec. 12, 2015 while crews demolish part of the I-71 bridge overhead.

The detour during the closure is White Road to Buckeye Parkway to Stringtown Road to McDowell Road to White Road or the reverse. Bridge demolition work is part of the I-71 widening project between Stringtown Road and State Route 665 in Grove City, Ohio that began earlier this year. The $37 million project is expected to be complete in summer 2017.
