Rex Blair new Jackson Township facilities manager

The Jackson Township Board of Trustees hired Rex Blair as the township’s new facilities manager. Blair, who started the job in May 2016, is a local real estate agent and has been a self-employed contractor for more than 25 years.

Blair will manage the comprehensive building operations for four fire stations and the township administration building, and supervise the township service department crew and mechanic.

“Jackson Township has more than $16 million in facilities so the trustees recognized a need to hire a building professional,” said Jackson Township Administrator Mike Lilly. “Rex brings more than 40 years of building experience, and has an exceptional work ethic and great attitude. He started the week of our Community Environmental Cleanup Day so he is jumping right into his new job.”
