Please let Jackson Township know when you see a nuisance situation with a property. Your reports are very helpful, and we will act promptly to attempt to correct problems.

The typical nuisance situation will usually be corrected after a first violation notice within a 14-day deadline. Sometimes a second notice is required. If a property owner fails to correct a problem after several notices, the township zoning administrator will file a complaint to the Franklin County Environmental Court for a court hearing; this last step normally takes 30-60 days.
