March 9, 2010 at 7pm           Comprehensive Plan Update
The Land Use Plan update process is nearing completion and a Public Meeting to review the updated plan is scheduled for TUES. MARCH 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall.  Staff from Franklin County Department of Economic Development & Planning and the Township will be available to answer your questions and take input and comment on the plan.  Final approval of the Comprehensive Plan Update is planned for April 2010.                   Click here for a copy of the (Future Land Use Map)

March 22, 2010 at 7pm        Orders Road Bikepath
A second public input meeting will be conducted at the Township on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.  Engineers and staff from Grove City Parks & Recreation will be available to present preliminary bike path plans along Orders Road.  The goal of this project is to get safe pedestrian access to Fryer Park and the YMCA.                                    Click here for a copy of (Grove City Bikepath Corridors)            

May 1, 2010         Spring Community Environmental Day
The Spring CleanUp is Sat. May 1st from 9am-1pm at the Township Hall.   New this year is COMPUTER RECYCLING by Possitivity Green, a private non-profit organization dedicated to 100% no-landfill E-waste recycling.  Possitivity Green staff will be available to accept your use computer and electronic equipment and provide you with receipts.  There will be a nominal fee of $15 per CRT monitor to ensure safe and environmentally disposal and recycling of the harmful materials contained in the monitors.  For more information about this event contact the Township at 875-2742.

 

PROPOSED Annexation & Gravel QUARRY
All residents should be very concerned about the proposed annexation for a gravel quarry on Jackson Pike just north of Stringtown Road...(see site map).  Township and city residents are encouraged to write letters of concern to the Columbus City Council.
