Welcome to Jackson Township, Ohio

Welcome to the website of Jackson Township located in Franklin County, Ohio. Originally settled in 1805, Jackson Township utilizes the same basic form of government established nearly 200 years ago with three (3) elected "Trustees" and one (1) elected "Fiscal Officer".   There are 36 other Jackson Townships in Ohio all named in honor of Major General and later the 7th U.S. President, Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson. 

Today, Jackson Township employs nearly 120 people engaged in Fire and Emergency services, road & cemetery maintenance, administration and zoning.  The Township's FY-2008 appropriation budget is $18.3 million.
