Firefighters rescue woman trapped in house fire

A neighbor called 911 at 5:59 a.m. Dec. 6, 2016 to report a possible house fire on the 1700 block of Borror Road in Jackson Township. Jackson Township Fire Division crews were dispatched at 6 a.m. and arrived at the scene of a working fire. Firefighters rescued a trapped homeowner and transported her to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The victim was reported in fair condition.

Battalion Chief Lloyd Sheets said the fire was out in 13 minutes. Jackson Township Fire Investigator Indol Moore said the cause of the fire is undetermined, but the investigation is ongoing.
